Join some of our most talented Stagebridge performers for a staged reading for Jane Austen’s Persuasion, adapted by Jennifer Le Blanc. Directed by Radhika Rao, this performance culminates a year of work in multiple classes.

In Persuasion, Anne Elliot was persuaded to end her engagement to Captain Wentworth for reasons of wealth and snobbery. After many years he has returned. Anne loves him as much as ever, but has he forgiven her, is it too late for a second chance? Austen's wit, wisdom, satire, humor, and passion come to life in this funny and romantic adaptation.

This will be held at the First Congregational Church of Oakland in the Chapel. Masks are required for entrance.
