• Engage active seniors
  Stagebridge helps keep seniors active and involved by offering them classes in the theater arts and performance opportunities. Rehearsing and performing with others helps provide purpose, stimulation and a sense of camaraderie. It also provides an opportunity for seniors to give back through community outreach to school children and vulnerable elders.
• Serve at-risk school children in the Bay Area
  Stagebridge sends older volunteers to provide at-risk students in under-performing elementary schools with a rich, multicultural, intergenerational storytelling and writing experience.
• Reach out to forgotten elders
  Stagebridge sends senior actors and musicians to retirement homes, hospitals, senior centers, and Alzheimer’s centers to offer workshops and to perform. The residents especially appreciate the unique songs, monologues, and sketches that speak to their generation.
