Support Stagebridge now and in the future with a charitable bequest
This method of giving is flexible, easy to implement, and can reduce taxes for you and your family. When you leave a bequest, you are helping to ensure the longevity of Stagebridge’s programs.
In its simplest form, a bequest can be some version of the following language inserted into your will or trust:
“I bequeath to Stagebridge, 2501 Harrison Street, Oakland, CA 94612 ____________.” (Insert the desired dollar amount or percentage, along with any special instructions.)
With the help of an attorney, you can adapt this language to leave Stagebridge…
- A specific sum of money
- A percentage of your estate
- A particular asset or piece of property
- A conditional gift
- A gift that is designated to fund a particular program
Your gift will help Stagebridge to transform the lives of older adults and their communities through the performing arts.
If you have questions about what kinds of gifts would be most helpful, or about how to word your bequest, please call our Executive Director at 510-444-4755 ext. 117, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you leave a bequest to Stagebridge, we hope that you will let us know about your generosity so that we can acknowledge your support!
